Dr. Mangonon is a great surgeon and is surrounded by some of the best OR nurses, CVICU, and surgical techs. My (family member) recently had a triple bypass and it was a very tough moment for the entire family. After discussing the procedure with Dr. Mangonon, it gave us complete hope that he is the surgeon for the case. He rounded on my (family member) routinely, multiple times a day even in between his cases. Him and his team (also Dr. Longfellow *Anesthesiologist* and team) care about their patients and put our minds at ease. We are so happy that he was our surgeon and that we came to Advent. We would recommend him to all our friends and family.

Dear Sir,

I was recently a cardiology patient in the Cath Lab, the Cardiac ICU and the Cardiac Step Down Units from **/** to **/**. I am writing this letter to inform you I observed great teamwork and dedication to patient care by all staff with whom I came in contact with.

My experience began on ***day (**/**) with the cath lab staff and Dr. Rene Celis, noting that Dr. Celis had booked an immediate opening once he reviewed my (information). However, he (performed a cardiac catheterization and) determined that I was in need of open heart surgery. He immediately conferred with Dr. Patrick Mangonon about scheduling me for (cardiac) surgery, which I had on **/**.

I am grateful for the efforts of these two providers during what could have been an emergency situation. The speed of getting me prepped and ready for surgery exceeded all expectations.

Additionally, I want to thank the surgery team as surgery is one of the scariest things a patient can experience. Their efforts to make the process as calm as possible were appreciated. I valued how they informed me (about the surgical procedure), answered questions, and the time everyone took out of their busy schedules.

My career in healthcare made me especially appreciate how Dr. Celis, Dr. Mangonon and the entire team worked together to ensure nothing was overlooked and deserves my sincere gratitude. The communication between providers and staff was exceptional. By keeping each other and me informed during all of the steps of treatment, made the process seamless.

My final thank you goes to the wonderful treatment and care I received from every employee of your hospital, from nurses, to techs, to radiology techs, to meal delivery personnel, to housekeepers. I have never seen the demonstration of kindness and concern expressed by every caregiver as I did at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.
